Folk Art - Yellow Boat Cove (20x16)
I heard a old fella telling a story of a small town in Cape Breton that the locals call "Yellow Boat Cove". As the story goes there were some college students who were hired to paint the yellow line around the highway of Cape Breton Island. It was a rainy summer and they got tired of painting. They headed into this little town and the locals gave them all the yellow paint that the government had purchased for the job in return the community give them lodging, food and most importantly all the drink they could drink for the remainder of the summer ... consequently all the boats and houses in the town were painted yellow.
